Posidonia

Posidonia is one of the biggest maritime trade events in the world, held every two years (even years) in Athens, Greece. It gathers shipowners, ship managers, shipyards, equipment makers, classification societies, ports, and manning/crewing agencies — tens of thousands of visitors from the whole shipping industry. A week of exhibition halls, conferences, networking receptions, and side events (there's even a famous Posidonia Cup sailing regatta beforehand). For anyone in shipping — including recruitment and manning, which is your long-term direction — it's a major networking ground.
